(3) Chickens must be confined in a pen or chicken coop at all times. (4) Any chicken pen or coop must have a top or lid, must be located in the rear yard, must be no less than 25 feet from any adjacent property line, and must be kept clean, sanitary, and healthful with droppings and organic material removed and properly disposed of. (5) Chickens may not be kept for a commercial purpose, such as producing eggs for sale or processing chickens for sale. (6) Outdoor slaughter in public view is prohibited.
